The Center for Real Estate Finance Research

The Center for Real Estate Finance Research (CREFR) at NYU's Stern School of Business was established in the spring of 2012 to foster research in real estate finance, economics, and operations at Stern, to improve and expand Stern's course offerings and career services for MBA students, and to deepen the relationship between the Stern school and the real estate industry. 

The Center helps Stern students interested in real estate in many ways. Events include:

  • Fall Symposium
  • Spring Conference
  • Monthly Executive in Residence Series
    • Speakers have included executives from Toll Brothers, Brookfield and Related Companies
  • Career Mentorship Program
  • EB-5 Summit
  • Conference on China's Real Estate Markets
